During both of these positions I have been in charge of a group of around 5 students, all from backgrounds whereby access to a Russell group university is limited. I have not only learned how to manage groups of students ranging from secondary-school age up to sixth form students, but also how to act as a mentor to these students in a way that is beneficial to their futures. I am extremely passionate about this job as I have also entered UCL from an disadvantaged background and wish to make change to the way that prestigious academic institutions admit students.
