I am experienced archaeological and marine consultant with a demonstrated history of working in the environmental services industry. I work as a marine geophysicist and consultant at Wessex Archaeology. I have an academic and fieldwork-based background in geospatial data acquisition and analysis, terrestrial and marine geophysics, and UAV survey. I also have an academic background in archaeological method and theory. My PhD focussed on multiscalar analysis of archaeological patterns which reflect community identity between the Romano-British and early medieval periods in southern England. In addition to my current role at RPS I am a passionate educator and teach lifelong learning modules in archaeology for the University of Aberystwyth. My research specialty focuses on Late Roman and Early Medieval landscapes, particularly in Britain, but my fieldwork has taken me around the UK and the world, including surveys in Morocco, Oman, and the United Arab Emirates.
