I have been working in the insurance industry for 23 years and of that 16 years have been spent in leadership. I spent 15 yrs in a direct sales environment with Nationwide Sales Solutions (NSS) at Nationwide Insurance, 9 of that in a Sales Supervisor position. For the past 8.5 years I have been in Underwriting with, formerly American Enterprise Group, now Wellabe Insurance, and of that for the past 6 years I have again been in a leadership role. All of this time has allowed me to work with and learn from some amazingly talented leaders. I have made it my primary focus to always emulate these individuals to the best of my ability to try and be the type of leader that I enjoy working with. I would like to think that those that have reported to me over the years would agree with me on this statement.
