Relationship builder helping people improve their quality of life I wear many hats in my position and liaison between customers, management, and vendors. I provide great customer service, set up new customer accounts, perform data entry to include; executing accounts payable, reconciling weekly and month end inventory records, as well as performing sundry administrative duties.The favorite part of my work is interacting with people“Who is my client, what is the need, and how can I meet that need.” With over 10 years in the service industry I have assisted a diverse patron base. My personal mission statement is that ' everyone has a voice and deserves to be treated with respect.' It is so satisfying when I’ve aided a customer with a home energy need or am able to direct them to a community agency that may be able to assist them. Many of these individuals are senior citizens that have no one to advocate in their behalf. In my last position I identified and connected customers with the right medical products that improved their quality of life.One such elderly customer was able to continue scuba diving after a radical surgical procedure because I found the perfect product to meet her needs. There is so much satisfaction in helping others.My greatest joy is working face to face with individuals making each one feel valued as a person and a patron. Studying abroad and learning different languages has increased my cultural appreciation and widened my international perspective. It has also taught me the importance of presenting a professional image and being knowledgeable of global etiquette in the workplace. Often it’s not what you say, but how you say it that counts. I love taking on new challenges such as learning additional languages. Currently I am studying Hebrew and improving my French and Spanish skills in my spare time. Appreciation and respect for others and a ‘give back’ attitude drives me in my journey to help others.
