I currently have the pleasure to work at AdventHealth in Orlando. I am able to assist and help others while directly contributing to the IT infrastructure; supporting the patient experience.I have had the opportunity to help others succeed; teaching students in Basic Computer Skills, Microsoft Office: Word and Excel in a vocational capacity to help people find jobs and be better prepared for today's technological workforce. These courses are offered FREE at Goodwill Industries of Central Florida Job Connection Centers. Class sizes were approx. 13-21 participants.Conducted training workshops on: Social Media and Mobile Devices.Such as: LinkedIn, Facebook, YouTube and Google+, Benefits of using Social Media, What Not To Do on Social Media, and Cyber Security training.Devices: Navigating, troubleshooting and diagnosing computers. I love the Information Technology industry; and I have experience in these areas: Microsoft, Cisco, VMware vSphere (VCP5-DCV)/ESXi, Symantec, Apple, HP/Dell/Asus etc. Linux. Active Directory, Troubleshooting, System Administration, Network administration, Help Desk and Break-Fix. SolarWinds. Servicedesk and ServiceNow. I enjoy creating new idea's and thinking outside the box.As a Sergeant and manager in the U.S. Army; National Guard, and civilian work force. I managed and instructed up to 30 soldiers in the U.S. Army. For 5 years I directly supervised a team of 3-5 personnel. Conducting briefings, training, classroom and field instruction with the number of participants ranging up to 80 personnel. I completed my 8 years of service and continue to use my skills in a place that contributes to the welfare of others.
