My background shows that I am an experienced professional in both the broadcast and print fields, and excels at business consulting and management. As a National Media Buyer for the General Mills account at Saatchi & Saatchi in New York, I quickly became an advertising professional. Soon recruited by Katz Communications, I was sent to Los Angeles to handle National media campaigns for television stations across the country. I worked in close relationships with major advertising agencies to develop strategic plans to grow the branding of clients such as Toyota, Burger King, Proctor & Gamble Products, and Ford Motor Company. I climbed the corporate ladder at a rapid pace, handling Sales for the West Coast Division in 1995, and was moved to the San Francisco office. There I managed the Television Divisions, representing sales for over 200 stations nationwide.Seeking a change in pace, I started CFA Rentals, a leading event planning company in the Bay Area. As Managing Partner and Project/Marketing Director, I honed my skills planning local events for the Amgen Tour, Habitat for Humanity, ABC’s Home Makeover, as well as the branding launch of the redeveloped City of Pleasant Hill. Working in conjunction with wedding professionals, city planners, various organization committees and corporations, I was instrumental in creating successful events of all sizes. After building a strong management team I was able to step away from the daily functions in 2004. In 2005, my family and I relocated to the Central Coast where I took a position as Regional Sales Manager of Central Coast Magazine. I was instrumental in developing increased advertising sales with this high-end lifestyle magazine. Honoring a year commitment, I began work on starting a local advertising and marketing agency. Adverb Media Group began in 2009.
