Directed design quality and mission assurance engineers across all programs. Positioned requirements, hardware designs, software, statements of work, and test equipment for life-cycle success through independent expert reviews, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement tools. Consolidated staff and business processes through merger of radar and missile businesses in pandemic environment. Leveraged data analytics, metrics analysis, statistical process control, machine learning, and digital transformation tools to lean out standard design processes.

Pioneered new staff position created to reduce design defects and accelerate product development across businesses to accelerate contract performance while maintaining AS9100 compliance. Championed process change for quality engineers from checklist management to solution-based problem solving using critical thinking skills, modern data analytics, and machine learning. Injected ‘voice of the customer’ into engineering processes, inviting suppliers, customers, and end users to evaluate and influence design decisions, fostering early buy-in and decreasing review times. Chaired enterprise level failure review boards.

Integrated Product Team (IPT) lead for all Patriot command and control ground equipment. Delivered designs and hardware to Patriot customers worldwide leveraging global expertise of over a dozen international suppliers. Managed contracts of various types to meet new production needs of each customer while growing the portfolio through technology insertion and modular upgrade kits.

Directed Integration and Test (I&T) of Patriot major end items assembled by prime subcontractors in Germany and Turkey. Led global team in verification and validation of performance requirements and primary mission objectives while stationed on-site internationally.

Sub-Integrated Product Team (SubIPT) lead for all Patriot power equipment. Delivered technical, schedule, and cost objectives in development of shore power frequency converters, power distribution units, and DC power supplies used throughout Patriot. Deployed Earned Value Management (EVM) tools to effectively manage cost and schedule targets.
