ClickCarabiner designs, manufactures, and markets niche specific carabiners. What the hell is a carabiner you might ask? Well, it's the foundational hardware rock climbers use to easily attach themselves to their ropes to stay alive. We loved that "ease of attachment" so much that we thought why not add some tools that were critical in the worlds we play in as well as some clever functionality, and our company was born. Why the name Click? Two reasons, first being that all carabiners make a "clicking" sound when attached or detached to something....and niche groups and clicks are synonymous. ArtFunction Display Company designs, manufactures, & distributes patent protected display mechanisms for consumer products that have strong emotional ties to their users. The company currently holds multiple US & Foreign patents & patents pending.

Responsible for all aspects of child care & development outside of breastfeeding. I'm an expert in poop prediction & clean-up, urine stream avoidance, splash time, nanny pickup, and translation of gurgely noises into both English and Spanish. I am an accomplished driver often logging over 100 miles per day towards educational and recreational experiences. On the "Failure to Thrive" index, I have only replaced normal meals with Cheerios or yogurt stix three times in the last week......Whoa....what just happened? The "little kid" years go by like your strapped on the front of a train and the days in front of you are disappearing like the tracks under the train. The kids are big now....and they still like me.... most of the time.

Sk8ology was founded in 2006 by Mark Schmid to create innovative products for the professional skateboarding space. We currently work with the top brands, retailers, & distributors within the professional skateboard world. Sk8ology holds multiple product patents and is part of the ArtFunction, Inc. group of companies.

Oversee and work with Chapter Learning Chairs in Western Half of United States (including Hawaii) for EO Global. This newly created position within EO was created to further engage local chapters with knowledge and events that greatly add value to the EO member experience.

Grew EO San Diego Chapter 20% to over 55 Members contributing 300 million dollars per year in annual sales to San Diego's economy.

The former skateboard deck manufacturing arm of Syndrome Distribution. After 8 years of manufacturing in California the factory was moved to Tijuana, Mexico, in 2004. Production was increased to over 2,000 professional skateboard decks per day. Pro Skates was the manufacturer of numerous top shelf brands in professional skateboarding. Upon my departure, Pro Skate had manufactured over 4 million professional quality skateboard decks.

Formed in 1987. Syndrome Distribution is a distributor of professional skateboarding products. Original brands included Flyaway Helmets, Zorlac Skateboards, Airbourne Skateboards, Deadbolt Trucks & The UNIT Tool.

As a freestyle skateboarder for G&S (Gordon & Smith), I participated in hundreds of contests and demonstrations across the USA from the mid to late 1970's culminating with a National Championship runner-up title in 1978, and a National Championship title in 1979. I was regularly featured in books, magazines, and on television. Following the mid 1980's resurgence of skateboarding, becoming a professional street skater seemed like a great idea.

Responsible for product development, marketing, sales, & team management of this high growth, professional skateboarding based company. Merged entity in January, 1987, to form AZA Industries/Syndrome Distribution.

Responsible for sales, purchasing, event planning, employee scheduling & marketing. Founded "skateboards & accessories" department in 1984 and grew sector into 100K/month in retail sales within 15 months time.
