"Engineering Professional and Experienced Leadership Personality with in depth specialized knowledge in Process Utilities and Ultrapure Water for Pharma and Biotech"Jochen brings more than 25 years of experience to his role as the Process Utilities Lead at CRB. He is an expert in the field of ultrapure water systems for the Pharmaceutical Industry. His deep knowledge and application of industry regulations, cGMPs and best practices has made him valuable in the design and delivery of process utilities. Jochen has experience in the concept, design and dimensioning of complete systems for generation, storage and distribution of purified water, water for injection and pure steam. Working for innovative and leading ultrapure water system suppliers in different markets, such as BWT (Christ) and Hager+Elsässer, prior to CRB, gives Jochen a unique perspective. He takes great pride in understanding the needs of an end user and combining it with his deep design knowledge to develop the optimal water system design, qualitatively and economically. Jochen is lecturer at the UNiversity Albstadt-Sigmaringen and an active member of ISPE as part of the rCoP “Water and Steam” in the DACH-region. He is Co-author of the ISPE Handbook "WFI generation without distillation" and Reviewer of the ISPE Baseline Guide Vol 4: "Water and Steam Systems".He has written well-recognized publications and presented at several conferences and trainings. He has also supported the approval of membrane technologies for production of WFI by the European Pharmacopeia.
