In the 1980s and 1990s, I was heavily involved in the emerging object-oriented technology space, especially in Smalltalk and Gemstone. Later, as Java became the leading development platform, I moved into web application development and received certification as a master IT Architect from IBM and The Open Group, overseeing development of several web and desktop applications. Over the next several years, Chuck garnered a wealth of experience as a consultant in business process management (BPM) and process simplification and reengineering.
