He is a former member of the Turng Lab at the Wisconsin Institute for Discovery at UW–Madison where he focused on polymer processing for medical applications. His graduate research included injection molding of tissue engineering scaffolds and simulation of PTFE paste extrusion for small-diameter vascular grafts.His professional interests include medical devices as well as robotics and automation. He also has particular experience working with electromechanical systems, programming, and using CAE software for engineering simulation.
