Successfully identified and implemented business opportunities that reduced operational costs by building synergies between the various Thyssen divisions and international trade partners.General Manager - Thyssen Delegate Office Mexico, Monterrey, Mexico (April 1996 to November 1996)Assigned to “breathe life” into the underachieving Mexico City Delegate Office, was requested by the Executive Board of TSU to provide leadership to the troubled office. Conducted due diligence on potential strategic mill alliances, the Mexican economy, and the effects of the Peso devaluation on the industrial climate.
