Producer of Sydney leg of live 24hr global DJ event which started in Sydney, travelled with the time zones to major cities around the world, finishing 24 hours later in LA. Used Windows Media Encoder to broadcast live to the event headquarters in Hungary, arranged location, DJs, live acts, music equipment setup, staging, press. Co-Producer of the whole event with the Hungarian Internet TV company, helping to bring other major cities online, such as Beijing, Paris and LA. Co-ordinating media, liaising with regional producers.

I spent almost 8 years in Tokyo, and worked as a Business Language Trainer while at the same time studying all aspects of film and television production, management, distribution etc, along with working on several film projects including an award winning short film by a UCLA Masters student, set in Japan, a feature adaptation of a novel, various TV dramas, appeared in several TVC's and shows, arranged a crew to create a unique music video, filmed at the fantastic Big Site based ComicCon for a project idea I have, and generally absorbed Japanese culture, art and lifestyle.

Initially started as assistant accountant, after two months replaced the accountant, and after six months promoted to overall business manager. The company was one of the largest sportswear apparel manufacturers in Qld, and I managed all aspects of production and business departments, including inventory and cutting dept, knitting dept, machinery and sewing depts, screen printing dept, and sales depts. Created systems workflows, inc a complete re-design of the computer software systems based on the operations of the company, liaising with the programmers about design and function. Dealt with Textile Workers Unions. Dealt with bank and financial systems. Created a Just In Time costing system for the sewing dept to go from in-house to out-worker system. Managed costing systems for all departments.
