Assistant General Counsel
CurrentMr. Schnee is currently an Assistant General Counsel with Kinder Morgan, Inc., the nation’s largest natural gas pipeline company, and maintains his office in Colorado Springs, Colorado. In that position, he has primary responsibility for the environmental legal affairs related to Kinder Morgan’s Eastern Pipeline Group, whose facilities extend from central Texas to the east coast and from Canada to Mexico. His areas of concentration include air regulation, issues involving remediation of soil and groundwater, real estate transactions involving contaminated property, incident investigations, environmental litigation, and corporate legal training. Prior to being with Kinder Morgan, Daniel was in private practice and later was Director of Environmental Legal Affairs for ANR Pipeline Company in Detroit, Michigan. Mr. Schnee received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan School of Natural Resources, and his law degree from the University of Michigan Law School in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
