As a member of the management team at Morssinkhof Plastics Zeewolde, I fulfilled a versatile position and I had the unique opportunity to get a taste of various disciplines.My position consisted of:- 30% HRM- 30% Projects- 15% QHSE- 15% ICT- 10% PurchasingIn addition, one of my regular tasks was personnel planning for approximately 130 employees, spread over 20 shifts.

Like many hospitals, UMCG has thousands of transportable medical equipment that are essential for healthcare. The availability of this equipment at the right time is very important for providing the right care. In practice, this provides a lot of frustrations because the medical equipment is not always in the storage, which in many cases results in the purchase of additional equipment to meet the demand. This leads to inefficient use of this equipment and high investment and management costs. By using (semi) automatic tracing systems, the quality of care can be increased and costs can be reduced.The Medical Equipment department had developed a Track & Trace application with an external party. This application brought the availability and manageability of medical devices (such as infusion pumps) to an optimal level. This project must be fully implemented by the end of 2017.With this project, I was contributing to optimizing processes and helped to increase the quality of care while reducing costs. My duties included:• Identifying the current situation.• Performing business analyzes (benchmarks).• Maintaining contact with stakeholders.• Providing advice on process improvements and application developments.• Testing applications and process flows.• Building and managing databases.

As a representative of the customer service of Belsimpel.nl (the biggest Dutch webshop for mobile phones and telecommunication) I had to know how to multi-task. We were calling inbound, outbound and wrote e-mails simultaneously. We would typically deal with complaints, technical issues, advising mobile phones and subscriptions according to the customer needs, upselling of accessories and placing orders. I was also a part of the B2B team. Between answering calls we had to reply on e-mails from customers. The focus was mainly on providing service.

For two years i have been part of the representatives team. We would help with parent evenings and promote the study program on open days and fairs.

As an intern at Neopost Technologies B.V. Drachten my assignment was to free up space on and around a specific production line for folder inserters and then allow the integration of new components. During the investigation, an Excel tool was made in order to map the on-site inventory levels. This was achieved by linking the sales data, to the BOM-structures and data from SAP. The data then could be analyzed, which made it clear where certain components were stored inefficiently. These locations were then addressed in order to save 16m² at acceptable higher overhead cost. This made it possible to integrate the new components. At the end of my internship, the tool in Excel has been transferred and the tool has now been rolled out through the rest of the plant in order to map the on-site inventory levels of the other production lines.
