Fascinated by sciences, I became an Agronomist engineer specialized in biotechnologies for health and a doctor in genomics and bioinformatics. My passion for biochemistry and medicine motivated me to work on lipids and cardiovascular diseases at the University of New South Wales and to help Sanofi's Infectious Diseases department to develop experimental methods for the characterization of antibiotics-target interactions. I then decided to dedicate my PhD at the Turing Centre for Living Systems to the study of some fascinating parts of the genome, called short open reading frames.Thrilled by the idea of contributing to improve our cohabitation with other species, I recently joined the IRSEA as manager of the Research Facilities.I am working with an amazing interdisciplinary team whose aims to develop non-coercive solutions by extending our knowledge of chemical communication and ethology, in order to better share our world and improve animal welfare.
