Set up secure, remote channels of communication with clients, directors and producers to accommodate smaller, safer crew sizes during the global pandemic. Managed, protected and live-edited footage, still images and other data on set and in live locations. Expanded a network of photographers, digital technicians, photo assistants available to work across New York city and the Northeast region. Scheduled and managed gear transportation for shoots up to three weeks across four states, shooting on stages and on location. Effectively communicated on set notes and direction between photographers and agency representatives to talent.

Hired, coordinated and managed crews under tight deadlines while constructing a network of New York and out-of-state based freelance film professionals. Designed lighting for a short film selected for competition at the Festival de Cannes 2021, receiving grants from Panavision and the Spike Lee Production Fund. Negotiated contracts with production companies and rental houses across the Northeast region to meet necessary gear requirements within budgets. Collaborated with Directors of Photography in building fully realized set lighting while maintaining safe set protocols.

At Tasty Productions, a subsidiary of AdKarma, I searched for and cultivated content for video production. This involved producing and editing copy for scripts. Every day I had to coordinate with on camera talent involving scheduling as well as in studio direction. Some days I performed on camera in order to produce content on time. Content w as created using various software across the Adobe Creative Suite platform and in YouTube. We also worked to build our online presence for finished products.

Engaging the Columbia community's and readers of the paper was a near full time job. I was part of a team that helped monitor comments from readers on our website as well as across our social media presence. As part of a long-term project I wrote a style guide for shooting and producing videos across the entire newsroom.

KBIA is the Columbia, Missouri, affiliate of National Public Radio. There series Intersection focuses on national issues and their place in local debate. During my time at KBIA I produced episodes for air as well as digital broadcasting. The process involved cutting together audio using Audition and typing up copy for web production. Oftentimes we would also conduct and transcribe interviews.
