I am a US Navy veteran with eight years of active service from December 2011 to April 2020. During my enlistment, I developed skills in leadership, communication and mentorship. After separating from active duty with the ambition of pursuing a new career field in Information Technology (IT), I attended New Horizons Computer Learning Center. Since then, I have earned my CompTIA A+, and my Microsoft MTA certifications in Operating Systems and Security Fundamentals. I intend to complete other levels of certifications such as Network+ and Security+ in the near future. Currently I am seeking a job opportunity in the IT field that will further develop my expertise and skills. My long term career goal is to earn a position as an IT engineer.
