During Schubert's time spent with the Markham Street Cafe, he served in a multitude of integral roles ranging from Event Coordinator, Customer Acquisition Specialist, and Barista. Here, he pursued his passion for providing exceptional customer service by leveraging his multilingual communication skills, strategic mindset, and ability to build instant rapport with just about anyone. In this multifaceted role, Schubert helped provide innovative sales and marketing ideas, plans, and strategies to boost revenue, increase brand awareness, and improve social media engagement. Whether he was helping to coordinate large and complex events or working to acquire new business opportunities for the company, he always displayed a level of professional excellence that is unmatched in today's job market.

Schubert’s role as an Accounting Intern saw him travel out of state while being presented with a handful of responsibilities alongside some invaluable, hands-on experience. As an intern, Schubert was filling in the shoes of the junior accountant that previously worked there and basically did everything his position required and more. Here, he immediately took charge by aggressively presenting his supervisors and executives with opportunities for growth, even playing an active role in creating a comprehensive guide for the company. He was then rewarded with a number of important tasks, some of which included creating invoices, overseeing accounts, and handling monthly payroll processing. In addition to his regular duties, he would participate in preparing journal entries and financial reports, analysing financial data, utilizing his knowledge of various bookkeeping software, and assisting with all other accounting activities.

As someone who has always loved staying physically active, Schubert thrived in his role as Swim Instructor at the British Swim School USA. Here, he was able to expand and develop an array of leadership skills while supervising swim sessions, implementing swimming and water safety instructional programs, and ensuring the safety of students and participants through the use of safe instructional practices and techniques. From inspecting and maintaining the swimming area to assisting with the planning and organizing of special events, Schubert helped play an integral role in providing a welcoming, safe, and positive environment conducive to learning, collaborating, and having fun. These collective experiences have helped Schubert understand the importance of teamwork, staying calm under pressure, and keeping a strong level of focus at all times.
