Werner is a founding partner of Schubert Consulting, an organisational consultancy based in Barcelona. He is Austrian and during his corporate career as an international banker has worked and lived in a number of countries in Europe and in the United States. His interest lies in assisting organisations in their change processes and management development. He has worked as an executive coach and consultant both in local and international context in various sectors. What informs his coaching practice is the emphasis on building a strong relationship of trust and understanding with each client. Prior to Schubert Consulting, he was a Senior V P with Bank of America, latterly focussing on change management and restructuring of operations in Southern Europe, with extensive coaching and mentoring activities. Earlier he had gained wide experience in financial risk management as a manager, executive and coach / mentor. In the mid 90’s he opted to remain living and working in Spain where he has lived now for the last 25 years, and other European countries initially in the financial institutions environment and later in this consultancy which is affiliated with one of the global HR consultancy networks, ITAP International.He attended Executive Programmes at the Harvard Business School (PMD 44) and UCLA (Executive Program 45).Werner is accredited as an executive coach with Ashridge Business School and Ashridge Consulting Ltd in the UK.
