As a painter and transmedia artist my work engages a range of media, bodily technologies, and ephemeral environments. The range of work extends from site-specific works in museums and psychiatric institutions; collaborations with computer scientists, students, and architects for a contemporary oracle; to commissions for interdisciplinary urban projects that involve type designers and dying newsprint media, an uninhabited island, wild ducks and a body of water as an environmental mirror. Recent work revolves around notions of seriality and memory, and includes stage commissions in the city of Copenhagen (DK) and other architectural settings in the US. My works and writings have appeared in the Virginia Quarterly Review, The Believer, the Massachusetts Review, Agni, and in Urban Infill - the journal of the Cleveland Urban Design Center at Kent State University, College of Architecture and Environmental Design. My works are included in private collections in the U.S., Europe, Asia, and Australia, as well as in the Stedelijk Museum, Amsterdam. "Her work stands in direct proportion to life.
