Develop, grow, and power the national expansion of Intelitek's STEM and CTE Education Foundation's K-12 coding and virtual robotics competition. The CRCC helps students and educators -- those with significant and without any coding or robotics experience -- develop interest and confidence in STEM pathways and computer science skills. More than 18,000 students and 400 educators have been active in the competition since its inception in November 2017...with numbers set to dramatically increase early this year!

Responsible for the development of InvenTeams, the Lemelson-MIT Program’s then nascent national grants initiative designed to foster inventiveness among high school students and educators.• Grew initiative from three school New England pilot to twenty schools nationwide; initiative is ongoing to-date with an average of fifteen schools each year• Doubled size of invention education staff to create invention education group• Cultivated corporate partnerships to facilitate expansion and provide teams with resources• Developed MIT-based workshop for educator grant recipients and capstone event for studentsInvenTeams -- composed of high school students, teachers and mentors -- are asked to collaboratively identify a problem that they want to solve, research the problem, and then develop a prototype invention as an in-class or extracurricular project. Grants of up to $10,000 support each team's efforts. InvenTeams are encouraged to work with community partners, specifically the potential beneficiaries of their invention.
