Drove collaboration across 5 engineering teams to deliver Northwestern Mutual’s first opinionated, standardized CICD pipeline – with security scans baked in. Exceeded the 2022 organizational adoption goal of this new pipeline by 2.5x.Effectively orchestrated the ideation, execution, and implementation of 15+ cutting-edge products within a span of 3.5 years. These innovative solutions encompassed diverse areas, ranging from full-stack applications that gamified the adoption of CICD best practices to highly efficient microservices. These microservices seamlessly processed every code change and pipeline, guaranteeing strict adherence to technology guardrails.Partnered with Security to implement Northwestern Mutual’s first technology guardrail: ensuring mandatory vulnerability scans in all pipelines prior to deployment. Oversaw implementation of a custom short-term Exception process to govern bypassing guardrails in business emergencies while maintaining traceability and transparency to comply with Audit controls. This combined approach of Guardrails and short-term Exceptions transformed the way security and standards were built into pipelines.

Developed a suite of automated regression tests that ran 53 hours of GUI automated testing across eight systems every night with FDA-auditable results available by 9 a.m. the next morning.
