OverSea Systems provided oversight to the repair and maintenance of shipping containers all over the world. It was the first viable method for shipping companies to monitor repairs globally. - Directed the work of three different outsourced development organizations and re-architected the platform to fit the business model. - Hired and trained the team of engineers to create the application that would run in 10,000 separate shipping container depots around the world. - Coordinated the development of one of the first handheld devices with integrated camera.

AdKnowledge was the first agency focused internet advertising company. Designed and architected one of the first internet advertising campaign management systems on the web. Was employee number six and in charge of half of Adknowledge’s software solution. Participated in the hiring of senior management, and also the team of engineers I managed as the product grew in scope and complexity.

Murphy’s Express was a home video delivery company based in Berkeley and Fresno CA. Designed and architected one of the first home video delivery systems in the nation. The system incorporated video rental, delivery schedules and intelligent inventory control. Managed all technical aspects of the organization. This was my first experience in a startup company.
