The new organization is responsible for delivering an additional $600M in annual revenue to Accenture. Paul worked directly with Accenture Senior Leadership to develop the new organization, including the head of North America Strategy and the Head of Global Industry Consulting.

Led Energy Transition Services (ETS) for Accenture in the Northeast, with a focus on originating new business and delivering solutions across the renewable energy, connected grid and electric vehicle landscape to large Utilities and Commercial & Industrial (C&I) customers. Worked directly with senior executives to develop new state-level commercial solar programs, to stand up a sustainability advisory service for an overseas utility, and to develop financing plans for an eMobility start-up in preparation for sale.

Led Commercial Strategy for Altenex, which was acquired by Edison Energy. Managed strategic commercialization of new products, services, and business models for Commercial and Industrial (C&I) customers looking to purchase renewable energy directly from the wholesale power market. Led the successful deployment of the first Proxy Revenue Swap (PRS) to corporate customers. Launched the Retail Delivered Renewables product within Edison in order to sleeve renewable power through to corporate customers on a retail supply contract, delivered by trusted Retail Energy Providers. Responsible for $4M+ in revenue from new products for Edison Energy.

One of a team that founded PowerAdvocate, a firm using big data, machine learning, and hands-on consulting services to help large utilities right size their supply chains. Led Business Development and Strategy for the organization over the years. PowerAdvocate was sold to Verisk in 2017 for $200M.As VP, Business Development, I was responsible for developing and growing the Oil & Gas and International businesses for PowerAdvocate. Over the course of two years, developed the sales, operations, IT development, and support team to expand into the new verticals. As part of the growth responsibility, managed the offices and support activities in Houston and Calgary. Revenue grew from about 2% to 15% of total corporate revenue.

Responsibilities included leading client engagement work on major Capital projects (FGDs, SCRs, and mercury control) and on long term strategic initiatives for Gas Turbine plants.

Managed the new construction and ongoing engineering responsibilities for a small aviation company in Los Angeles. Garrett Aviation (a subsidiary of General Electric) provided a full suite of customization and repair options on corporate airplanes. Personal responsibilities included managing three testing centers, providing construction management oversight for the building of new facilities on the LAX airport, and delivering engineering diagnostics for aircraft turbines.
