I am a developer passionate about security, I believe understanding the do's and do not's of security make for better developers. Critical flaws in code can be found before deployment if a developer is actively coding against the idea of security. I am interested in building tools for both internal and external use especially in the network security field.I have worked in a quality assurance role supporting the testing, both manual and automated, of an enterprise product. In this role I was able to learn about what flaws a developer can introduce with a seemingly small code change. I have also worked in helping build a vulnerability management program from the ground up. My summer internship I learned about automation in a CSOC utilizing an automation and orchestration tool in tandem with Splunk.
