I started just volunteering for the Florida Envirothon in 2003 as a scorer. By 2005 I was the Wildlife Chair. Then beginning in 2010 a fellow Board member and myself have taken turns being President and Vice-president. Currently, I am President.

It has since dissolved, but the Southeast Regional Envirothon has taken the place under the Environmental Conservation Organization (ECO) to continue the great works of the high school environmental competition. The Environmental Stewardship Awards portion of the EEC has joined forces with Broward County Schools and the environmental division of Broward County to create and run the very successful P3 Challenge.
