I started just volunteering for the Florida Envirothon in 2003 as a scorer. By 2005 I was the Wildlife Chair. Then beginning in 2010 a fellow Board member and myself have taken turns being President and Vice-president. Currently, I am President.

I have served as a Chair for the Wildlife category of the Envirothon since 2003 and have served on the Broward Envirothon Board since 2009. The Environmental Education Council of Broward County, Florida was created in 1989 to provide a communications, networking support structure and county-wide vehicle for facilitating the integration of environmental education and promoting action oriented conservation efforts throughout Broward County, Florida.
