Working with RGS for disinfectants and disinfection equipment, a member of Rely industriesgroup, as a research and development engineer/ chemist to:- Develop and test novel disinfectants formulations- Setting up the production facility and SOPs for new products- Developing novel disinfection products- Assist with products registration, ISO GMP requirements, and certification process

Supervising research of graduate and undergraduate students at the chemistry department’swater treatment laboratory at AUB, tasks included:- Follow-up on student’s research ideation, proposal, planning, experimental setup design,data acquisition and analysis- Publishing peer-reviewed research articles- Assisting the principal investigator in managing the lab and writing proposals

Collaborating with Difaf, a Lebanese environmental consulting and solutions provider firm, onvarious projects and delivering tasks including but not limited to:- Conducting scientific research & development- Field visits and inspections- Developing sampling strategies and implementation, data cleaning, sorting and analyses- Support in projects planning, action plans and bills of quantities- Detailing technical briefs- Support in feasibility studies & cost-benefit analysis- Commissioning plans and implementation- Supervision on project commissioning

Supervising the environmental engineering research center at AUB, which is a service, teaching, and research laboratory in the faculty of engineering and architecture. tasks included:- Sample logging, preparation, reviewing testing results and reporting reports- Follow-up on laboratory maintenance, orders, safety and housekeeping- Preparation and development of laboratory course on water and wastewater treatment- Teaching lab courses- Conducting laboratory HSE training for new users

Worked for the WHO and Lebanese ministry of health to assess the water quality and water treatment systems for all Lebanese government-owned hospitals. The project took place over three month and a total of 28 hospitals were surveyed, the final recommendations were applied to improve critical water quality issues faced in the public sector hospitals.

As part of my studies for my MS degree, I was employed as a full-time research assistant, working on several projects in the civil and environmental engineering departments, duties included:- Conducting research projects, mostly on desalination and wastewater treatment- Assisting researchers on projects- Training undergraduate students on standard laboratory techniques and procedures
