As a Senior Researcher at Bose Institute and a final year PhD candidate in Life Sciences and Biotechnology, I am passionate about uncovering the genetic and molecular mechanisms that underlie plant growth and development. With a strong background in botany, genetics, biochemistry, and molecular biology, I am dedicated to conducting cutting-edge research that has the potential to have a significant impact on agriculture and the environment.I have extensive hands-on experience and expertise in various techniques, such as microscopy, DNA-protein interaction assays, RNA sequencing, NGS, LC-MS, and Yeast Two-Hybrid system. I have also generated transgenic plants in Arabidopsis Col-0 background. I have published a few papers in peer-reviewed journals and presented my findings at national and international conferences. I have received notable accolades for my academic excellence, including a University Gold Medal in both MSc and BS in Botany, and alongside DST-INSIRE and UGC-CSIR fellowship. I possess strong leadership, communication, and people skills, and have served as the president of Bose Institute Research Forum. I aspire to pursue postdoctoral research opportunities abroad to continue my scholarly journey and contribute to groundbreaking advancements in the field of molecular biology.
