• Offered employment following completion of graduate level internship • Provide individual, group, and family therapy utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and insight-oriented therapy to adults with behavioral health issues • Conduct initial psychosocial intake assessments and diagnose patients using DSM-5 criteria• Complete precertifications and act as Utilization Review contact for insurance authorization • Respond promptly to crisis situations, including assessing for suicide, drawing up safety contracts with patients and their families, and writing certificates and petitions for involuntary admissions• Volunteered to be Safety Coach for department, which includes training and counseling colleagues regarding safety tools and protocols as well as developing more efficient means of resolving identified safety concerns • Develop and deliver psychological education curriculums on depression and anxiety management, recovery skills, healthy communication, and relapse prevention• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team and communicate issues regarding patient progress• Create comprehensive treatment plans with short- and long-term goals, update as needed, and arrange discharge planning to ensure supportive follow-upReferred by Director of Behavioral Health for PRN position with comparable responsibilities described above on Child/Adolescent Inpatient Unit
