Currently employed as Operations Manager for XPO Logistics in Leigh, I am responsible for overseeing our shared user networks including Specialist Services and night distribution networks.

This role involved direct management of a team of 10 full time staff in locations across the UK, reporting directly to Head of Training. The role includes daily management of government funded and private sector training contracts representing an annual turnover of £1.5m. I am also solely responsible for Transport Management including fleet utilisation.

Assigned to the Wincanton/Somerfield contract, responsible for management of 25 LGV drivers across Midlands and northern England and reporting directly to Senior Transport Manager. Responsible for driver performance monitoring including accident and disciplinary investigation. Trained new and existing drivers to Wincanton’s stringent national.
