• Obtains and analyzes social and legal data and prepares reports in relation to matters pending in the courts concerning persons awaiting disposition by the courts. • Interprets conditions of sentence to persons placed under probation supervision, supervises such individuals by ascertaining compliance with conditions of probation, and counsels and assists them in problems related to compliance and to the maintenance of lawful behavior in the community.• Prepares progress reports on persons under supervision and periodically reviews case histories to determine degree of adjustment.• Prepares violation reports and testifies at delinquency hearings.• Establishes and maintains contact with other law enforcement agencies and cooperates with them in matters of mutual interest.

• The general responsibilities of the Community Services Board are to plan, implement, fund and evaluate all mental hygiene services for which the county will apply for state aid support. Mental hygiene services include all mental health, intellectual/developmental disabilities, alcoholism and substance abuse services.• The Community Services Board is a policy making board.• The Community Services Board has the authority to hire and fire the Director of Community Services.• The Community Services Board has oversight and policy authority over the development of services, increase or decrease in services, allocation of funding to provider agencies and monitoring and evaluating services.• Board Members are appointed by the Ontario County Board of Supervisors and as such, are public officials subject to an oath of office.• A full-term appointment is four years.

• Counsel and aid individuals with mental illness within the Ontario County Jail. • Conduct evaluations, individual counseling, training, and other supportive services. • Provide case management, outreach, advocacy, and linkage/coordination with other services. • Assist individuals to integrate back into the community after incarceration. • Coordinator for Ontario County's NYS Medication Grant Program.

Family Preservation Services• Provide direct service to children and their families in their natural environment to prevent foster care placement of at-risk youth; treatment follows the Homebuilders model. • Perform therapeutic and crisis interventions and case management including coordination of services, referrals and connecting families with continuing care services as needed.

Worked summers while attending Nazareth College.• Provide direct care/supervision to emotionally disturbed, residential population. • Member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team trained in therapeutic crisis intervention. • Utilize individual and group therapy techniques.
