I joined Journée eCommerce's team in January 2019, 4 months before the 2nd edition of the event took place. I led a team of 5 into elaborating vision and objectives for the event. My work mostly focused on recruiting speakers and experts for the event and building an event agenda following the mission of creating as much value as possible for participants. I also took care of marketing strategies in order to sell tickets, on-site logistics, and speaker's logistics. Journée eCommerce 2019 gathered 300% more participants than the previous edition and was widely covered by Quebec media and considered as one of the top eCommerce events in the province. On top of everything, I also hosted an hour long discussion panel during the event with two digital marketing superstars in which we discussed social media marketing.The 2020 edition was cancelled due to covid-19 breakthrough. A big chunk of the work was done by the time we unfortunately had to cancel the event. When the cancellation notice was published, the tickets sale had already risen by 42% compared to the previous year.
