Consulting/partnering with Solutions Engineering team to provide service to customers to improve both our provided network and their LAN, providing redundant solutions to meet stringent customer needs for premium SLA, managing of complex technical projects and strategically phasing deployments to mitigate interruption of existing networks, providing statistical data related to their circuits and identify solutions to best leverage our network and future solutions, creation of labs to test possible network solutions, working directly with customer's engineers to provide service as it was requested during time of sale, analyze client networks, draft designs to meet requirements of government RFP, solving complex customer requests, prepare and deliver technical presentations as required in support of the Enterprise Sales Team.

Responsibilities included configuring core MPLS connections for new and existing customers, Tier 2 & Tier 3 troubleshooting (Metro Ethernet, Dedicated Internet Access, Business Trunking, Cellular Backhaul), configuration and support of Core Network Architecture and protocols (MPLS, VPLS, Pseudowire/EPL, BGP, OSPF, DWDM, CWDM, E-PON, GLBP, HSRP, IP SLA, etc.), troubleshooting and repair of network events (Incident Management), configuration of managed switches and routers (Cisco, Juniper, Alcatel, ECI), running of single-mode and multi-mode fiber at engineering hubs and customer premise, installation and repair of IADs for (PRI and CAS-T1) and SIP devices, installation and repair of Salira PON equipment (chassis and ONU), handling Enterprise customer escalations, ensure that all tickets (NOC, Enterprise, etc.) are accurate and updated in a timely manner, drafting of post mortems (RCAs), interdepartmental communication, responding to customer complaints, complex escalations, trending common issues, and problem solving.
