FASESA increases African involvement in space by creating STEM opportunities for students, training educators to more effectively teach STEM, educating governments on the economic benefits of the growing space economy, and advocating for more jobs in the sector. This creates a flywheel for more opportunities for African students and nations.To date, FASESA has created events in South Africa, Zambia, Ethiopia, Kenya, and Tanzania, with plans to further expand throughout Africa.

Led the propulsion organization through qualification and first 4 orbital flights. Responsible for Virgin Orbit's fluid components, solid motors, liquid engines, and propulsion stage systems.

On special assignment as Interim Director of the Mojave Flight, Launch, & Test Site in addition to usual duties running the Propulsion organization.

Responsible for development of the NewtonThree rocket engine and first stage propulsion systems of LauncherOne.

Responsible for the clean sheet system sizing, design, and development of the NewtonThree rocket engine.

Designed R&D and flight hardware, associated tooling, and process facilities for 1st and 2nd stage Merlin engines.

Helped grow the USCRPL from a small get-together to a self-sustaining advanced projects group that has developed solid, liquid, and hybrid rockets -- and became the first university group to reach space.

Designed, built, and tested an experimental electrothermal resistojet satellite thruster. Analyzed the effect of propellant temperature on viscous flow losses through a configurable micro nozzle design.

Developed the thermal system of the HORYU-2 experimental high-voltage (400V) satellite. Successfully operated in low Earth orbit 2012-2013, fulfilling its mission objectives.

Strategy development of new company business model (Global Partners Program) with use of local agents around the world.
