I have years of experience as a commercial real estate negotiator, financial analyst, landlord, property manager, and advisor to many entrepreneurs in various capacities. In addition to my responsibilities as an ambassador I also started an internship program at the chamber and kicked off recruitment for the first round. I plan on continuing this opportunity for students to get involved as well as help the chamber into the future, even if remotely from Nashville.

Focused on consumer and B2B sales for Sprint Nextel. By using a personalized and needs based selling approach I consistently exceeded company objectives. When not actively engaged in the sales process I would often employ creative and successful marketing techniques. My post sales process skills allowed me to create a solid network of loyal customers who would often refer me to others. This post sales process also provided me with a customer base that was responsive to my communications.

In my position as VP of Professional Events I helped regroup the organization in an attempt to bring it back to it's roots. One of the primary purposes of Delta Sigma Pi is to "promote a closer affiliation between the commercial world and students of commerce". In an attempt to meet that primary objective it was my job to; organize and host all the fraternities professional events. These events included; hosting professional speakers, touring area businesses, creating partnerships with other business organizations, and promoting our activities. This promotion serve's a dual purpose of both promoting our organization as well as helping us make a case for funding. Because of the nature of the fraternity and our exclusive membership status our organization was previously denied funding from the university. I am currently on the forefront of overriding that decision and expect my approach to be successful.
