Matt joined Jackson Spalding in 2011 after four years as a Senior Account Executive at a well-respected boutique agency in Atlanta. His broad range of experience covers media relations, strategic planning, crisis work, executive positioning, event planning and social media.At Jackson Spalding, Matt supports clients including: AECOM, Chick-fil-A, GDOT, Rogers Electric, Mueller Water Products, IDI Gazeley, Orkin Canada and Mattress Firm. His work has garnered a number of accolades, including a 2012 Certificate of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America in the Editorials/Op-Ed Columns category. He has also been presented with a 2008 Golden Flame Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC) for “Comcast Cares Day,” a community relations event, and a 2010 Silver Anvil Certificate of Excellence from the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) for a program supporting Cartoon Network’s “Get Animated” campaign, as a part of National Recess Week. The latter also resulted in a Guinness Book of World Record. Matt also serves on the Programming Committee for Urban Land Institute (Atlanta) and is a ULI Center for Leadership graduate (class of 2015). He also serves as a PEDS Board Member.

Matt Scofield, senior account executive, joined the Hope-Beckham in May 2007 after he completed an internship with the firm. Matt provides public relations counsel and media relations support for a range of clients – including both business-to-business and business-to-consumer clients. Clients include: Aaron's, Antron, Comcast, Cartoon Network, Greenberg Traurig, Stainmaster, Newell Rubbermaid and other nationally recognized companies. Prior to joining Hope-Beckham, Matt worked as the Business Communications Assistant for McKenna Long and Aldridge, LLP. He graduated summa cum laude from the Henry W. Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communications at the University of Georgia in 2006 with a degree in Public Relations.

Assisted with Internal/Business Communications reaching all MLA offices. Duties included writing/editing daily articles for the company's internal Web site.
