CurrentI provide modeling and simulation expertise and support to various projects. My research tasks have centered on studying and developing mathematical models to examine negotiation approaches between two parties, using statistical analysis to understand the spread of COVID-19 during a natural disaster, studying mathematical models in the application of autonomous surface vehicles to support the Coast Guard, researching mathematical models that study blast injury on the human body, conducting exploratory analysis on data to infer properties of the data set, and study methods of risk assessment. I am also currently studying machine learning techniques to aid in the decision making process.My top accomplishments include developing an Excel toolkit that conducts a risk assessment on the successful transition of technology and utilizing the value iteration method to model negotiation tactics between two parties as a Markov Decision Process.
