About Steven Conway
I am a 2017 Graduate from Nichols College in Dudley, MA where I obtained a Bachelor in Sports Management. From an early age, I have been interested in sports and have always been involved within them. I have a passion inside me for the game and look forward to working my way towards a career in sports. My perseverance and determination will lead me to become a very successful person in this career field. Everything is not given and these careers need to be worked hard for. Working hard and doing your job is the motivation for putting the best effort forward every day within the workplace. Working towards a goal is sometimes tough, but it's how one fights through the adversity. My education will only lead me in the right direction and I strive to do my best on all assignments. The best workers in the sports field have taken their education and run with it. Taking advantage of what is given in the classroom is the pathway to being successful. My career goal within the sporting world is to become an equipment manager for a professional sports team, whether it’s the National Hockey League, American Hockey League or another league. Working with a team has been a goal of mine, since I am no longer playing. I enjoy the comradery of the team and how everyone works together for one common goal, winning the championship. Being a part of a team is one of the best experiences one can have in a lifetime. We learn so much from going through the ups and downs together. In conclusion, I always strive to be the best I can be at anything I do. I hope in the reviewing of my portfolio of various works that you will see this as well. I have included many items that show my abilities to my future employers, colleagues and organizations.
