I've spent my career is roles centered around business management, sales and marketing. Five years in both restaurant and retail management. Rest sat 450 with 50+ employees, Retail was overseeing 2 stores with a staff of 40+ and both stores were in the top 10% of stores nationwide.While in Orlando I founded "The Connections Groups," a business networking and social organization which, at it's height, hosted monthly mixers with as many as 300 in attendance and charity events of 1000+ attendees. We had 3400 regularly active members and over 24,000 in our database.At the same time, since 1999, I worked mainly with two companies as an independent contractor: Bradford Tax Institute, which is an educational company, and United Financial Freedom, a company that sells a financial management software system. With both companies I was able to combine my training and presentation skills with sales skills because the path to the sale mostly involved education.With Bradford I have taught 90 minutes of tax strategies, both IN person and via webinar, with attendees having the opportunity to purchase a more extensive online course at the end. I did this live for 9 years and, more recently, since 2022, via webinar. I still currently work with Bradford part time.With United Financial Freedom I mostly trained, recruited, and presented. I led a team of over 300 at the peak and was active from 2006 to 2020 or so. While I've stepped down, I still received residual income from past sales.
