Supported twelve conservation crews across the Denver Metropolitan area. Created and executed multiple programming days for all 156 corpsmembers for key organizational dates. Utilized Salesforce to support hiring operations. Oversaw MHYC's environmental education program, including participation in coalition meetings, project partner relations, and curriculum building and execution across it's final operating year.

Successfully finished an Americorps term of service for an educational scholarship. In the term of the course, worked with a variety of project partners at local, state, and federal levels on environmental education and career development topics. Provided over fifty hours of curriculum to over 500 community members, harvested over 1,000 pounds of produce for a local CSA, and improved over 5 miles of trail and other natural areas. Was promoted to a crew lead position following the end of my term.

Being on an active university campus, situational awareness was also key to performing job duties safely as to protect the image of the university and the well-being of staff and students.

Collected forest ecology field data to be used for fire-mitigation strategies and land management across Colorado mixed-conifer forests. Data collection tools used included Esri systems, GIS navigation, dichotomous keys, prisms, DBH tape, rangefinders, clinometers, tapes, compass', GPS devices, plant presses, and cameras.Performing job duties required significant plant identification skills, strict adherence to research methodology, attention to detail in various terrains and weather conditions, exemplary verbal communication skills, and professional team conduct on week-long projects requiring camping.Personal project approved by the lab utilized data collected at Heil Valley Ranch following the 2020 CalWood fire, which burned through the property at various levels of severity. I synthesized a scientific poster using the data that lab crews, including my own, collected to demonstrate how wildfire severity dramatically affected forest health. Project partners at Boulder County Open Space chose to print and display my poster.
