I am genuinely passionate about the positive impact public educators have in the lives of children. I am the product of the US public school system. I spent much of my childhood without a stable home. We bounced from town to town and school to school. My entire life was lived on shifting sands. Except for school. Every where we went, there was someone there who cared about me as a person. For every negative story someone tells about a school or a teacher, I remind them that public school teachers enriched my life beyond measure.What we do matters. It mattered for me.
