Advised some of the world's largest commercial banks, asset managers and other insitutions severly impacted by the global financial crisis and the European sovereign debt crisis. Provided interim corporate communications leadership for major supermarket chain during restructuring through Chapter 11. Advised on communications supporting broad range of white collar defense, regulatory issues, M&A and other confidential assignments.

A senior member of the world's largest business communications consultancy and co-head of its North America Marketing Committee during its rebuilding phase in the U.S., advised Fortune 1000 and emerging growth companies in the U.S., Europe and Asia on financial, corporate, cross-border M&A and crisis communications. Managed several of the firm's key client relationships over multi-year engagements to support business expansion culminating in sale to FTI Consulting (NYSE: FCN).Among other assignments, managed IPO communications for NYMEX and Mechel OAO; U.S. media relations for UC RUSAL's $30 billion merger with SUAL and Glencore's alumina business; profile-building campaigns for Cognizant, HSBC's Commercial Banking business, Schroders Investment Management; and CEO transitions at Cognizant, STMicroelectronics and MSC Industrial Direct. Extensive on-the-ground work outside of the U.S., particularly in Europe and Asia.Crisis assignments included: NYSE specialist investigation and settlement, the debate over offshore outsourcing and financial restatements.

Starting out as an intern, quickly rose to director of the public relations department for The Fresh Air Fund, a major New York City non-profit organization dedicated to providing summer camp and vacation experiences to more than 1.7 million low-income children since 1877. Led strategic national, regional, and community-based marketing and public relations campaigns in support of volunteer recruitment and fund-raising initiatives.
