Accountable for end-to-end delivery of multiple IT portfolios, programs and projects with teams in North America, Europe, and Asia. Specializing in one-of-a-kind “never been done before” projects, as well as global program rescue and remediation.

Responsible for establishing goals, objectives, policies and processes for the Company’s IT functions of governance, finance, process improvement, portfolio and program management, business intelligence, security and risk management, quality management and sourcing and vendor management. Develop and implement cross-functional programs to ensure attainment of organization’s business plan for system growth, profit, branding and franchise unit quality. Responsibilities also included P/Ls, new product launches, expense and capital budgets, business analysis, project auditing and strategic planning and organizational design and development.

Performed IT and Operations planning for consumer electronics retail start-up. Designed and developed IT Strategic and Actualization Plans to integrate in-store consumer experience and activities with online customer loyalty and self-service support programs. The process-centric Plans also defined workflow requirements for the functions of POS, Inventory Management, Financial Reporting, Work Order Dispatch, Time and Billing, AR, AP, GL and Order Entry. Other accomplishments include co-authoring the Business Plan, Sales and Marketing Plans, Capitalization Schedule and developing the company’s five-year Financial Pro Forma. ArrivaOne’s Business, IT and Operating Plans won the company a tenancy at Jacksonville’s Technology Enterprise Center (TEC), a government subsidized high-tech accelerator with strong connections to the local VC and Angel investment communities. Angel funding was procured.

Responsible for all development initiatives from idea to implementation for real estate agent, broker and B2B hosted solutions. Drive all timelines, the product development lifecycle and provide the overall direction for business developers, project managers, user interface designers, engineers and quality assurance team members. Researched emerging technologies that will impact the real estate industry and small businesses at large. Grew product subscriber base from two to fifty-two thousand, driving annual revenue for the product suite to over $15.5 million.

Centralized sales force and customer information systems of this $350 million business unit, consolidating three national real estate brands onto one common IT platform, reducing infrastructure requirements by two-thirds and related FTE administrative expenses by one-half. Designed, developed, implemented and managed company’s sales force automation solution. Provided custom GIS solutions, financial reporting and analysis, competitive analysis and market intelligence.

Managed all facets of Network Operations. Developed a variety of enterprise wide automated solutions directly impacting operations and market production. Established the network as the communications clearinghouse. Initiated Operations and Systems Support efforts to empower the user, allowing highly skilled staff to focus fully on mission critical tasks. Acquired expert knowledge of Windows NT, Windows for Workgroups and the entire Microsoft Office suite of products.

Co-developed software product line. Traveled national real estate trade show circuit to evangelize the company and products. Responsibilities included all network operations, customer support and product installation and training. Scot personally installed and configured every LAN in every office of Arvida Realty Services, formerly known as Prudential Florida Realty – 63 in all, throughout the state of Florida.
