Tasks required for this role included operating payloads and test equipment on manned and unmanned flights, directing and organizing field and flight tests, providing customer demonstrations and operator training, repairing and operating immature products under go/no-go conditions, and writing operations manuals and field test procedures.● Acted as Firmware and Software Developer, designing and debugging a variety of modules and applications ranging from motor driver tuning, control systems, location based image capture, buffer and transfer of high-speed data, test operations and task automation, and interface GUI design.● Operated as Electronic Hardware Designer, performing schematic design and PCB/Flex circuit layout, as well as providing guidance through design reviews.● Performed QA and Test Engineer responsibilities such as validating payloads and image sensors, executing power-on testing and debug of new circuit card assemblies, writing up and performing regression test procedures, and running various customer acceptance tests.

● Performed threat system simulation of missile plume and hardbody signatures.● Analyzed electro-optical/infrared trajectory and clutter signatures to build sensor error models.● Designed and developed a multi-stage missile flight path profiler.● Gained experience with most “JANNAF” codes and other data generation, modeling and analysis tools including OSC, SPF-III, CHARM, VIPER, CHAMP, SPURC, SPP, TDK, SOCRATES-P and MODTRAN.
