I care, vigorously, about the earth's continued thriving, and have devoted over 25 joyous years in service to the dream that we live with balanced awareness of our impact and connection to the earth. I believe that caring is at the heart of any true movement. I help world-bettering organizations discover, nurture and tell their true stories. I love trees and have saved lots of them. I love helping people and communities to reconnect with their ability to dream forward the world they wish to be part of and to align their resources and actions to be in accord with that dream.This sometimes arises via fundraising, lobbying, community organizing and public relations, or sometimes creative strategy development, branding and identity work. I like to organize communities around their personal connection to the care the true stories elicit. My work is often focused on storytelling that has both an impact on readers and motivates them to act. I also specialize in developing big-picture strategy that is both creative and concise, and allows the chess pieces to be effectively moved on the board for both incremental and transformative success. I develop messaging that is understandable at all levels from experts in the field to people that are new to the information. I have over 25 years of media relations experience that has led to placement of stories at the international, national, state and local level in publications as varied as the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, Raleigh News & Observer and various other outlets. I am passionate about helping improve both internal and external communications.
