Working with our Machinist and Sales team, I manage all aspects of manufacturing to ensure each product is delivered on time. I personally manage the overall product portfolio, including Harbortronics hardware, software, and services. I also stay in consistent contact with our vendors and perform market research to ensure production costs stay on or under budget and the production timeline is on track, while maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction. Our product line includes a fully automated time lapse controller, mounting hardware, and a unique, hand crafted waterproof housing.

I managed all of the manufacturing and assisted in the design processes for our self-cleaning, self-contained, web enabled, underwater camera systems. I work directly with our Managing Director and Engineer to develop the product vision, design, and functionality, while maintaining continuous communication with each customer personally to ensure each and every aspect of our products satisfy specific technical needs and capabilities.

I worked on various CAPS and APHIS programs with the Colorado Department of Agriculture (2 Seasons)Collaborated with both the Cooperative Agricultural Pest Survey (CAPS) and the Animal and Plant HealthInspection Service (APHIS) programs to monitor the populations a variety of insect pest species to help inform control practices and show the impact on Colorado landscapes. In addition, I collected samples for the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) honey bee survey to monitor the overall population and to learn more about the causes of their decline. I also assisted in the release and monitoring of biological control species for Emerald Ash Borer (EAB), and worked directly with the public to help build awareness about EAB.

I was responsible for examining plankton tows collected from across the state for the veliger stage of Zebra and Quagga mussels in addition to identifying any samples collected by the state boat inspectors. I was responsible for thoroughly inspected all state fish hatcheries for aquatic invasive species. I was also operated and maintained a Flow Cytometer and Microscope (FlowCAM) and even worked with the BOR on improving the use of our systems.

I worked with a technician to safely trap, identify, and collect blood as well as other biological samples from small mammal species, for an ongoing NEON project in eastern Colorado. In-between trapping, I worked within a team to identify and collect eastern Colorado plant species for biomass and plant diversity measurements. In the lab, I was responsible for processing and inventorying samples as well as data entry.

Acoustical monitoring in Denali National Park and Preserve. I collected sound-scape data to measure the anthropogenic noise input to the wilderness of Denali National Park and Preserve by installing sound stations, throughout the park, that collect sound pressure levels and audio data.
