- There are a plethora of supporters that believe in and sustain the mission of RaY, a local, non-profit charity. I handle personal contact to over 1,000 stakeholders through various mediums of communication, including social media platforms- Execute daily copywriting (sponsorship proposals, business plan, funding applications), and community interactions (partnership meetings, presentations, tours, media requests). Each is created with a unique message for a different audience while emphasizing our consistent brand - Contribute to the ongoing development of the strategic and marketing plans of the agency

- This walkathon fundraiser is held in 80 communities across Canada – the inaugural Winnipeg Walk was in support of RaY. As Location Director, it was my responsibility to develop a strategic plan, lead a small committee, and manage the promotion, logistics, volunteers, and sponsorship of the event- The success of the Walk depended on the recruitment of walkers, volunteers, and donors. I created a multi-faceted promotion plan that included recruiting strategic partners with broad networks, and implementing the use of targeted invitations, social media, print, billboard, radio and television - As a result of recruiting 195 walkers on 36 teams, the inaugural Winnipeg Walk raised over $78,000 and was the fourth highest fundraising campaign in Canada (out of 80)

Manage student committee members, for the end goal of organizing the University of Manitoba Shinerama campaign and the University of Manitoba 5 Days for the Homeless campaign, which raise money and awareness for their respective charities and causes.University of Manitoba’s 2011 Shinerama Campaign -Raised over $38,000 for Cystic Fibrosis Canada -Increased corporate partnership by 45% -Lead a 13 person team -Organized and promoted four new fundraising event initiatives that are sustainable for the future -Created a marketing plan and promoted to U of M student demographic, as well as relevant off-campus markets -Recruited in excess of 300 student volunteers and executed the largest 'Shine Day' in U of M history, raising over $16,000 on Sept 15, 2011University of Manitoba’s 2012 5 Days for the Homeless Campaign -Raised over $21,000 for Resource Assistance For Youth (RaY) – a 31% increase from 2011 campaign -Planned and executed the inaugural Panel Discussion on Homelessness in Winnipeg -Launched social media campaign (Facebook, Twitter, blogs, and video blogs) -The 8-person campaign committee, along with over 100 recruited volunteers, engaged the U of M student population about the issue of youth homelessness and effectively promoted RaY's mission and societal impact
