Member Of Technical Staff - Hardware
Work closely with management and marketing for advanced integrated office communication products featuring telephones, trunking, and remote access. Responsible for detailed hardware specification documents and direct hardware design from schematic to production. Design experience includes ARM processors, DDR1/2, PCI/ PCIe, USB 2.0, SPI, VGA, backplanes, analog/ digital telephone linecards, T1/E1 trunking, and power distribution. Also FPGA design experience including complete simulations with ModelSim and Aldec tools. Proficient with ViewDraw and Orcad schematic capture tools and direct management of PCB layout for each design. Regularly interfaced with Doc Control on ECO origination and maintenance with Agile (Oracle) manufacturing database tools. Fluent with test equipment - oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and line simulators. Continual contact with Operations for sustaining issues, component obsolescence, test anomalies, and new product introduction.
