Scott Army is a successful entrepreneur and investor with nearly 20 years of experience in various professional investing and entrepreneurial operator roles. Scott currently is a Partner and Head of Alternatives at meetperry.Prior to meetperry, Scott served as the Chief Investment Officer of Galaxy Vision Hill (GVH), the digital asset fund-of-funds business unit of Galaxy Digital (TSX: GLXY). Scott also served on the Executive Committee of Galaxy Digital and Management Operating Committee for Galaxy Asset Management. In his role as CIO for Galaxy Vision Hill, Scott led successful investments into over 50 private fund investments globally over seven years out of multiple tailored fund structures spanning hedge funds, venture capital, direct, co-investment, and GP stake opportunities. In addition to his role as CIO of GVH, Scott also helped to grow and scale the Galaxy Asset Management team and business from $1B to greater than $5B in AUM.Prior to Galaxy, Scott founded Vision Hill Group in 2017 before successfully exiting via acquisition by Galaxy Digital in May 2021. At Vision Hill, Scott catalyzed the institutionalization of the early digital asset management industry by introducing market leading due diligence templates, a series of pioneering hedge fund index benchmarks for actively-managed strategies, and launched one of the first and largest dedicated digital asset focused, multi-strategy, fund-of-funds alongside a SaaS performance database product called VisionTrack.Prior to Vision Hill Group, Scott spent the majority of his early career in credit markets at JPMorgan, as a trader of high yield corporate bonds and credit derivatives for over a decade. In his role as Executive Director, Scott managed gross notional of $500mm-$1B of bank capital in a proprietary capacity in addition to serving as an institutional market maker for firm clients.
